School Accountability Report Cards
State law requires all public school receiving State funding to prepare and distribute a School Accountability Report Card (SARC). The purpose of the report card is to provide parents and the community with information about each public school. The SARC begins with a profile that provides background information on the school. State law also requires that the SARC contain all of the following information:
- Demographic data
- School safety and climate for learning information
- Academic data
- School completion rates
- Class sizes
- Teacher and staff information
- Curriculum and instruction descriptions
- Post secondary preparation information
- Fiscal and expenditure data
